Connect to Hardware
Vizard supports stereoscopic head-mounted displays, 3D sound and many peripheral input devices, including head trackers and game pads. Distributed, networked environments are also supported.
VRML and other 3D formats provide immediate access to large 3D databases. The open-source language Python is free and has an active user community providing a wealth of resources for applications.

Avatars Included
Vizard에 포함된 사람 얼굴, 신체 모델과 Morph Designer는 가상인간을 현재 환경에 거의 바로 삽입할 수 있는 강력한 도구이다. 최고 수준의 Morph 콘트롤러는 복잡한 얼굴 표정들을 합성하고, 가상의 인간에 생명력을 불어 넣어준다. 효율적으로 고안된 아바타(Avatar) 메쉬와 에니메이션 엔진을 이용하여, 수 백명의 사람을 자신의 세계에 포함시키는 것이 가능하다. 3DMax Character Studio 로 제작된 인체 모델을 Vizard에서 사용 가능하며, 고(高)품질의 아바타를 구입하여 사용할 수도 있다.

무료의 Vizard API는 주변장치를 입/출력하고 OpenSceneGraph기반의 사용자 정의 프로그램 루틴을 사용하기 위하여 오픈 플러그-인 구조(Open Plug-In Structure)로 제공한다.

Cluster Support
Vizard는 여러대의 컴퓨터를 이용하여 하나의 시뮬레이션을 구동시킬 수 있다. 각 시스템의 그래픽스 Update Rate가 정확하게 일치하고, 하나의 프로그램으로 운영되도록 지원한다.

A 3D Studio Max exporter is available for tailoring visual quality to your needs.
